When did you buy your 350D? There's never a perfect timing to buy hardware. With the rapid technological advancements and changes, a newer model may be introduced in less than 6 months from the previous model. If one keeps waiting for the best time, best price, etc.. then can keep...

Didn't you buy the LCD protector, pouch, bigger SD card from the same shop you bought the camera from? Usually, you should be able to get some discount when you the items together with the camera. You can buy the original IXUS leather pouch for the IXUS 800 IS. It's a little tight but it...

If you get the battery grip for the 350D, you'd get a slightly better grip but it's also heavier at the same time. I din't mind the additional weight cos I find the grip better with the battery grip. To each his/own, I guess. Or should I say, YMMV! :dunno:
