    F200EXR vs Canon S90

After all the exchanges here whether that camera really rocks or sucks might be quite clear. The manufacturer making supernormal profit must be laughing all the way to the bank when making a camera with IQ not typical of its brand by resorting to blatant noise filtering, chippo optics and...

    Samsung Nx 10 ?

Perhaps, it's not exactly a problem of trembling hand if you are composing using the LCD instead of viewfinder. A monopod on the chin make a lot of different here. I probably couldn't notice the lizard if not of the monopod with my new Samsung SL820 viewing from Microsoft Paint's 200x magnification.

    Samsung Nx 10 ?

We are not talking about ranking here. I have no problem finding the whole fleet Samsung cameras in Europe and America. Maybe they know too little about good cameras than us.

    Samsung Nx 10 ?

Wow I am not sure if many owners of big brand of its price dare claim (and put up here) pictures of this high IQ. I hope not many of us are cocky arrogant owners of expensive big brands and passing fun comments on the less popular just because they are cheaper. Somehow we might be ended up among...

    F200EXR vs Canon S90

Maybe objective results are better than words. Or those dpReview testers must have made mistake when it comes to S90 and F200EXR. Is this Fujifilm closer to S90 or DSLR if to look at these comparison in JPEG? ... quite unbelievable to see how branding, advers and crowd comments can rank up a...

    Compact Digi Cam

If excellent camera like Samsung EX-1 is still out of the budget, you can consider Samsung SL820 (IT100 in Europe). A great camera that our local shops shy away because of its brand. Its very high optical resolution is unheard of in P&S and probably even better than DSLR many times its price. In...

    F200EXR vs Canon S90

Not surprised. Because such statement was made in the 60s when 35mm hoped to replace the large format; in the 90s when digital hoped to replace 35mm; perhaps while approaching 2020, what is the chance that PnS (of course not F200EXR) will replace DSLR - a dream? By and large at the moment...

    F200EXR vs Canon S90

Confused by what you saying here after all the exchanges - wasted my time (or many readers' time). I don't know about S90, most F200EXRs have already found their owners leaving too few on the shelf by now. Cheers.

    F200EXR vs Canon S90

Looks like an endless contention here when girls and sister are brought into the discussion. I think resorting to cropping or comparing against Large Format with slides or negatives seems irrelevant here. Yes after reading your links, S90 has better IS. That might explain why I needed a...

    F200EXR vs Canon S90

    1. Lens Range - Not much difference between the 2, consider that both lens reach are too similar for non-critical application. This is for me and I will just walk nearer. A slight win on F200EXR. Is 105mm vs 140mm insignificant when standing unprotected before the lion vs behind the fence...

    Fujifilm F200EXR is a GEM

It's unfortunate the Fujifilm shyed away from continue producing this excellent yet so affordable camera just because a slight err in the auto EXR. Finally the JX200 is out, looks like the closest successor resembling F200EXR. It has Full HD video and 16:9 format, exactly what some have...

    Fujifilm F200EXR is a GEM

This camera is not exactly point and shoot, perhaps, if you start meddling the setting without enough understanding. Check if you have accidentally set the overcompensation or try using the settings above. Otherwise leave the bad shots inside as proof for warranty.

    Samsung EX-1 Review

Well, EX-1 is another camera that you don't have to pay alot to get among the best in PnS. In a nutshell from LuminousLandscape review ... Conclusion There's a lot to like about the Samsung EX-1. Build quality is exemplary – a notch above what one usually finds in this price point. The lens...

    Fujifilm F200EXR is a GEM

Well DR is set with F-button either in EXR DR mode or P-mode as I shared previously. But now I often prefer to disable the flash and use a monopod. This recovers the lost stability of PnS when viewing on the LCD without the legacy benefit of pressing the view-finder against the eye bone. With...
