seems like there are a lot of D90 female users here. should we form a group here? hehehe

I am using D90, and I think it in terms of grip, there is no problem at all. The only issue u may want to note is the weight instead. Try to hold both cameras and choose the one u like and feel comfortable. Don't buy something half hearted :) I have choise D90 over 40D and 450D at that time.

I suggest not getting the kit lens if you can buy the body only and if you are sure you are serious about photography and will continue doing it for the long run. I started with the kit lens when it launch in late Sept and bought other lens in Dec. Believe me, my kit lens is now collecting...

hello. i am new to dslr too and am thinking of practising some outdoor shoots at the zoo and bird park. Can i ask how frequent do you need to zoom till 300mm? thank you in advance.:)
