Turtle (not terrapin) flipper, my granny's stew many years ago;
Bardi grub spread on toast, during bush-tucker tour;
Kangaroo, smoked and in blood sausage (bush-tucker);
Bustard (aka Bush Turkey), smoked with sandwich(bush-tucker);
lots wild-plants during bush-tucker walk;
Horse meat in soup (Mongolia);
Crocodile, stir-fried, grilled (Africa);
Giraffe, grilled on spit (Africa);
Kudu, jerky (Africa);
Springbok, stir-fried and jerky (Africa);
Impala, stir-fried and jerky (Africa);
Ostrich, stir-fried (Africa and Sg);
Mousedeer, in rendang (M'sia kelong);
Wildboar, stewed in lorh (M'sia kelong);
Fugu, grilled (tastes like bak kwa leh, last week at Jap restaurant);

But then many Chinese dishes also "unique", "cruel".

dis is wat u ate at phili yeah??? how does it tasted like????? M superly duperly curious cos its against me religion to eat it. I was overly excited wen i came across a street vendor selling these n i had to take a pic of it!!
 

Lamb's head hotpot in Dunhuang, China - it was actually frozen and chopped up into 5-6 pieces, so not like you could see the entire head. Taste? Just like lamb/mutton!
Bat stew in Johor - tasted rather musky though cooked with plenty of herbs. Bit strange to see all those translucent wing bones!
Various insects in Thailand. Nice and crunchy when fried.
 

BBQ cicada cocoon. Absolutely disgusting and left a lasting stench (like that given off by the bodily fluid of a bug) in my mouth :sticktong Had to keep taking bubblegums and breath fresheners to get rid of the smell/taste.

Fried scorpions taste great :thumbsup:
 

DOG MEAT, BAT and monitor lizards taste very good..
