Hi,
Just wondering, when you guys mentioned tissue, is it normal tissue or lens tissue?
I always thought normal tissue is rough and have the potential to scratch lens.
How about Kim Wipes (Kim Tech) then?
Saw some mixed review about this.
Just get a good microfibre cloth. Of course some microfibre cloths aren't that great, I've tried a few random ones through the years, only 1 or 2 work really well, the rest not so.
Same with me I only use Kodak lens cleaning paper till it's extinction. Am using another
brand Electra Digital Camera lens cleaning paper but never touch those liquid or spray
as bro Catchlights first link indicate Carl Zeiss Optical Incl lens cleaner spray even
though am using Zeiss lens.Never ever allowed my lens to come into contact with liquid or spray period.

hmmm.. I have a bunch of these CZ wipes, along with the entire cleaning kit, micro fiber cloth, lens cleaning liquid, abrasion free brush. Got the entire kit free from CZ distributor Shriro... maybe should try using it.
Hi bro Edutilos, when you use microfibre, do you spray cleaning solution or wipe dry? Also, if say our lens is always covered with filter, we do not need to touch the lens at all right? Thanks in advance.
Depends, but I always use a blower first before using the microfiber unless I don't have the blower around and the smudge is bad.
For wet cleaning I just use IPA from Guardian. Works fine.
Re filter, I think you might still have to clean it now and then if you're particular.. There are all sorts of variables like whether the filter/lens interface is airtight, condensation, etc.
