Here a few sample handheld shots from this lens with the E-3 taken today at different focal lengths mainly under low indoor light, high ISO conditions... cats again I'm afraid. :embrass:

1/6s f/5.6 at 190.0mm ISO 800

1/10s f/4.7 at 169.0mm ISO 800

1/200s f/4.4 at 133.0mm ISO 800

1/50s f/4.4 at 141.0mm ISO 200

That the pics could be taken at shutter speeds so low with this lens as in #1 & #2 is testament to the effectiveness of the inbody IS of the E-3, I would think.

Yes this lens is sharp! Seemed to me as good if not better than the ZD 40-150mm f/3.8-4.5.
Haven't had the opportunity to shoot outdoors yet but from the pics posted on pg 5 & 6 of this thread, the bokeh looked quite good to me.

Today going around to shop for a cost efficient super zoom solution to compliment my super cheapo 14mm-45mm len on E330 (just bought at Jurong Courts 3weeks ago at $799).

After 3 phone calls, the Parisilk sales person told me that their 70mm-300mm stock is very limited and selling price is S$542 with GST. When I quoted the price of $521 found in the earlier post, he just gave a plain answer that he was not aware of any discount.

On my way home, happened to pass by AMK. So I dropped by at MS Colour to check out the price for 70mm-300mm. The Uncle quoted me S$599 with 2 free filter. The pricing is consistent.

After much talking & many phone call to his boss, finally managed to get the len w/o filter at S$542. After checking the len, everything looks fine. He promises to do 1-to-1 exchange if anything wrong with the len after I tried on my camera over this weekend. Good service attitude & friendly service
