ur pics are pretty good.... especially the birds and the last one(bees)... butterfly ones are abit off focus I think.... hand shakes I guess....

i guess the lens is really a keeper taking into consideration its focal length and price....

btw were you the one whom rushed down from Jurong to Paris Ris to get the lens??... if you were the one... then you intercepted my deal argh.... not sure seller got tell you the story or not.. heee.... cos i think he mistook you for me.... anyway have fun with the lens wor..

and yes, I heard from steelheart while I was there another CS member was interested to get this lens. Because I ordered from Lord Camera of Lucky Plaza since last week of Oct 07 (launched on 26/10) and local agent Oly S'pore is not efficent enough to bring it to S'pore.
Until now I don't hear from Lord Camera that this lens is in S'pore.

bro just curious... is this lens the same as the sigma 700-300? and a 0.5 mag would mean this is almost a macro lense isn't it?? sheesh... now i'm really torn between this and the 50mm...

If you can, get it from Japan. It's much cheaper. I got mine at S$479.

yes that's the price they are selling in japan 39,900yen minus 5% tax... however, this lense is very hard to find as it is sold out in most stores in japan.
