Hi everyone,

Yourfilm.sg is back this year, bigger and better!! It is now a NATIONWIDE film and animation competition for youths(7-35) with the theme of "What Moves You?". There are also three sub themes: Kindness, inspirational seniors and racial harmony. Anything else can be submitted to the open category. You can do a film on any of these categories and win attractive prizes including the newest model of Panasonic professional handheld camcorder (only released in Fall 08) and rental packages for film production at Sinema Old School as you heard it here first!! This is a great competition for youths to express themselves through digital media and film. To add to this, workshops will also be conducted from now till september for all participants to learn more about film making.

Workshop Title: Practical guide through to basic filmmaking
Contents of course: A short overview on the various pre-production steps involved and some camera work,
plus handy tips on filmmaking for the novice.
