Outdoor with decent sunlight = AWB. I find it 99% correct on my D90/D300.
The rest also with AWB unless I notice the inconsistency in between shots, then I will set to Kelvin mode.

4800K-5500K depends on flash power and lighting conditions

you have photoshop don't you? don't worry about it, click image, click color balance, play with the sliders or click color match.

shoot raw if you want, but I don't bother, that's why there is photo shop. secret: pros shoot jpeg and laugh at people that shoot RAW,ask them.

when art tries to copy reality, most likely it will fail?dali picasso didn't copy reality, it represent reality from the artists imagination, isn't that the same with photography? why not make the photo warmer by setting it to daylight or cloudy or play with kelvin temp or give it more punch by increasing saturation. reality is boring, that's why we have art.

That would be a tedious job if I have lots of pictures :-(

For me I want to have as real as possible, just like the film era...

Is the original expodisc really that great compare to the china made expodisc equivalent?
