So many many years ago... it's changed so much the last time i visited about 2 yrs ago...

Still remember prefect master went on stage to talk abt soccer players spitting on the field.. telling us not to... then he say.. sometimes you see on tv club match players do that.. they arnt they are spitting out their chewing gum...
we were like ehhhhhhhhhhhhh.. whats the diff. ROFL

Remembered during one of our eng lit class, had to answer some lit qn from teacher.. think it was regarding Macbeth... 1st wrong ans stand up, 2nd wrong stand on chair, 3rd wrong stand on table, 4th -6th wrong climb and hang on window grill.. More wrong, out of class... I got promoted to Monkey boy hahahaha.

Was in higher chinese class but got demoted to normal chinese. So during higher chinese class, me and another classmate had to leave class and head out to the library...

Was a prefect..
Kenna tekan by seniors during training... pretty shiong.. but think it somehow made us warriors.
When our time came to "train" our juniors, change of policy. Prefect master say.. tekan leave it to NS time... nevertheless, following generations a bit nua.

...good times.

I was from Gan Eng Seng School, then Jurong Junior College.

I still keep in touch with some of my old school friends.

Can't be ma , you own a canon and is in CS ;) . You love cameras for sure !

I like to be behind the camera, not in front. Haha.

Anyway, there was an article many yrs ago on why there are quite a few celebrities who was formerly from Temasek. Actually, the weird thing is, the school that time wasn't even strong in the arts. And Joanne Peh was just a regular science student, plus a head prefect status, whom I doubt never even dabbled in acting then! I can conclude, maybe the school had potential talents who couldn't wait to get out of the sch to flap their wings. Lol! The sch was even regimental in discipline. Like army sia we kana by discipline master. Hur hur.

Well during my days we always emphasize it's THE Chinese High School, don't miss out the 'THE'.

At that time, chap teh or chaptek, malay shuttlecock kicking was a favourite sport during recess and after school. Pretty unusual I thought, don't see ppl playing that elsewhere. And no it wasn't the 1970s or 1980s.

:bsmilie: THE Ah-TU as Principal days!!
And his favourite song 'Whole River Red!!' hahahaha.:sweatsm:

Somehow never remembered people doing chaptek there leh...

Speaking of acting... nobody can beat Andrew Seow (or that's what I think his name was)... the big brother in Growing pains?

He was "famous" in our school for interesting reasons... then when we saw him in the TV series.... we were like :what:
