Poor value or not is really a relative measure of one's disposal income, I guess.
It's true that people choose to get products that don't seem to offer much value. That's a valid point, and I think we can all agree with the statement that sometimes, we buy things just because we like them, not because of the inherent value.
The statement above is ridiculous. Poor value is poor value, if someone sells a broken camera for $99 million and Bill Gates buys it, and prances around saying that it's less than his private jumbo jet monthly installment, it doesn't change the fact that it is a bloody bad buy for $99 million - whether or not he can afford it or whether he wallows in gold, etc.
I suspect you are just taking the opportunity to either troll to get a few laughs, or you really have an attitude issue - in which case, I would suggest a little humility. Cheers.
