Yeah esp if you are using a FF with better noise control in high iso.

Hey guys!
I'm thinking of saving up for a new prime.poison poison~!! but i just wanna hear
whats the view out there.
I LOVEEEEEE UWA and landscapes but i guess i've got a 17-40 to cover that.
So i'm prob looking more into street photog kinda stuff & portraiture.
I was thinking a 135L. What say you?![]()
135L is a great outdoor portrait lens for it's IQ and price, however for indoor usage (even on a FF) beside the limited space. Most likely you may need to pump up your ISO/shutter speed (if you are not using strobe/flash) in order to avoid handshake.
This is one of the reason why 85L is sometime preferred than this lens.
my dream set...
24 L, 50 L, 85 L... done... enough.. cos need to eat bread for one whole year le.. lol...:think::think:
I would advice... spend within your means..... not worth to eat bread for 1 yr... accidents do happens, and must have money for standby too......
Well, if you have this concern, then you shouldn't be considering 135L since it is 2.5 years older than the 35L and is also rumored to have a version II coming. The youngest of the lot that you have listed above is 24L II.HO HO HO. Overwhelming replies man. THANKS EVERYONE. 85L is way toooo pricey.
Looks like everyone is givin the 135L good comments. Thought about the 35L before but read that the lens is 10yrs old and might be due for a new version.
I think the PRIME contestants has always been 135L, 85LII, 35L, 24L II.

EF 50mm f1.8 II. This is my fav coz this is the only one i can afford. Arguably the most bang for your buck.
