My only problem with Transformers was when the Dinobots came in. Not many people actually liked the Dinobots though. It had however grown on me :embrass:

Never ever liked those sissy American made politically correct (ehm.. unless you are non-american then you are open to abuse) 
action cartoons like Rambo, MASK, GI joe, etc. Never ending story so long as producers can make money and no one dies or even gets hurt.
Jap anime always have a special place in my heart.
1. Macross (Made in japan robots were sleek and fast, a 'revolution' at that time wrt the clunky tin can look of most brit and ameri fare)
2. Gatcha men (the feather dart; wow! my bros and I spent loads of time try to emulate this one)
3. Starblazers (one of the greatest battleships ever (Yamato) in sci-fi, cool! )
(all these are 20-30yrs ago, pre VCD, DVD..now downloadable content days, where lit'le me would wait eagerly infrom of the tele at 5.30-6pm for the next episoide)
Nowadays, jap anime is still top notch with the storyline, artwork, imaginative worlds. An endless source of A-lists for me.
For exceptions to sissy American fare that I like:
1. Itchy and Scratchy (aka. Simpsons)
2. the MAXX (mixed up, weird, so MTV... )
3. Batman (for the revolutionary 'dark' 40-50's airbrush look and theme)
4. Beast Wars (Transformers; somehow a more engaging story, liked the graphics )
