Luis Suarez said: "I am deeply sorry for my inexcusable behaviour earlier today during our match against Chelsea.

"I have issued an apology and have tried to contact Branislav Ivanović to speak to him personally. I apologise also to my manager, playing colleagues and everyone at Liverpool Football Club for letting them down."

That was my thought... Though there are crazy managers (like Maccini) taking multi-million dollar gambles (on people like Mario) (I guess, if one thinks that the $ supply is endless, then taking such gambles may be justified!)..

Say what needs saying, but: Luis created one, scored one, handled one, and bitten one. Not a bad day's work!!!

One should be judged based on his contributions to the field, and to me, Suarez has been LFC's saviour this year. Take away his goals and contributions and you end up with???

As for the FA, if they think we are looking for role models in footballers, they are severely delusional. If our kids are not seeing us as their role models, then we are severely delusional. People who crash their porsches, bit, kick etc etc are totally out of "real touch" with the average wage earner, and cannot serve as role models.

A world Class player with colorful character.
Not saying what he did is right, but his desire to win is never questionable.

Just need to outgrow them.
