Actually, i fell asleep during the game. Too tired from 2 days of working long hours but during that sleep i woke up few times to see the score 0-1 & 1-1(89minutes) so i continue my sleep. Nothing new with LFC under BR. When i watched the game early on,before i fell asleep, LFC were attacking, "dominating" the opponents. Nothing new. Newcastle went 1-0 up due to poor defensive lapse. Nobody taking on Cabaye on the far end. Another 'nothing new' under BR. We keep on controlling, more possession but no end result. In the end, we had to rely on Suarez for goals. Jonjo missed a sitter that even i, with my injured left leg from playing futsal yesterday, could have scored.

Its time for BR to look into his tactics. He should start from the back. Our defence is leaking. No point scoring a goal or 2 if our defence is leaking. Most if not all successful team starts from the defence. If you dont conceed goals, you wont lose games. Thats what i mean by effective football. It may be boring at 1st but thats the start we need. If we can have a solid defence then we can balance our play to a more attacking one but maintaining a strong defence.

Still think we should win last night's game,though. Will give BR till end of this season lah(since everyone here is waving BR undies) :bsmilie: give him chance coz we overly dependent on Suarez for goals but i'm not convince he's the right choice. BR need alot of proving & convincing to do. BR signing of striker is poor! Borini is never a known scorer! Now he's a sick chicken...wait for January and see who we sign...he's only good signing is JA & maybe NS(loan),if he can fit into EPL.

be advised that after 38games, it will take the other coach another "3yrs" to change the style back to RH style cos by then the players can only tikam tikam and cannot humtum humtum..
i quite scared of 3yr, 5yr plans after le boss.. altho the 1st few yrs turned out fine..
also, not even cupwinners like him or rafa could successfully handle the transition fr a defensively solid team into a 20shot-on-target-a-game attacking team..
better not to have a fixed style, but to see what ur team is capable of, and make adjustments accordlingly (of coz, thats how we ended up with king kenny's 2nd coming)

cabaye unmarked was not any single defender's fault..
tio caught on the break(not for the first time in the match), the first defender had to take on ben arfa cos he has the ball, the remaining fella gotta guard the centre against sissy..
ll, no one left to handle cabaye on the far side.
the right back awol again, thats the 3rd one to do so so far..
we have flanagan left to try.

i think stevie G as an anchorman is really good.

he has aged quite a bit and isn't as dynamic a player as he once was.

So far, I am not so disappointed. The team seems to be performing, not just holding the ball, but actually creating chances. What we don't have is a couple (!) of good strikers. All that I saw of Borini leaves me unconvinced... then there is also some dead wood from the previous regimes... Cole (!!!!), Downing... Henderson... Carol (yeah he is far away nowadays.. bless him)... Not too bad..
