gd coaches dun always make gd managers, admittedly not for the lack of trying..
sammy lee at bolton comes to mind.
and i recalled watching him conduct the open coaching session at kallang.

i am of the opinion that the support staff at that time afforded rafa the time to excel at the things he's gd at:tactical analysis
u ever heard how he employs ppl to study and make dvds of opponents for his players to take home and study?
its heck of a time consuming thing when u've matches every 3days..

felt like the siege mentality got to him in the end, with the rafa rants and stats stuff and no one really supporting his views (not openly anyway).
