Arsenal and England international wide player, Theo Walcott has rejected the Gunners most recent contract renewal offer according to the Telegraph. It appears that the offer from Arsenal is to raise the players current wage rate of £60,000-per-weel to £75,000-per-week.
However, Walcott was more in the mind of thinking that he was worth £100,000-per-week. According to sources, Arsenal feel the jump is a sizable amount and looks proportionate to what he has performed to deserve.
This failure to once again agree on a new deal looks to have thrown the transfer doors and speculation about Walcott wide open. Liverpool already had made an approach before, but this time it looks more possible than a few weeks ago as the London club will hope to encourage the biggest bids they can get for current want away forward.
Walcotts dynamism and the great upside from his youthful age make him a prime target for not only Liverpool but any others. Manchester City has also been linked with a move for the player following their failure to lure him in the first attempt beck in early June.
