iso 200, bulb mode, f13-f14, 3850k white balance. most important is don't panic when the bursts come and always be ready. :)

Thanks alot...will continue trying and hope one day, I will be proud to list my photo up here too..

hope to see your pics soon. :)

hi, hear from my friend that tmr going to have a rehearsal for yog,
but from pub announcement (refer to below link) didnt mention about this date will have firework,
so does it mean they are going to do the rehearsal w/o firework?

http://www.pub.gov.sg/marina/allann...OpeningandClosingCeremoniesandRehearsals.aspx

i think there is no fireworks tomorrow as the marina bay water area is not closed.

Hey,

Very very nice photos.

May i know the times where the fireworks are fired? A rougly time.

I understand that you said finale is starting around 10.10.

how about the earlier 1?

Beautiful takes - my faves are #1, #6 and #7. The fireworks have less smoke and more variety than the NDP ones I saw yesterday.

I attended the CR4 as spectator, yes the fireworks was quite sporadic - first burst around 8.20pm and lasted about 2 hours...the final burst was around 10.30pm iirc. Majority of high level was fired behind the MBS. Wonder which is the best spot to camp for actual day - since the firing pattern may be slightly different. From what I heard, only 10% of actual day was fired for CR4.

Thanks for sharing!

can i know when will there be fireworks again or isit over?

thanks. hope the yog fireworks will be better on the actual opening ceremony. :)

Hi!

Your fireworks pics (both NDP and YOG preview) are simply awesome!

I went to take pics of the NDP fireworks but failed terribly :(
There wasn't much colours in my fireworks pics, some were not sharp, the MBS was barely visible unlike yours, and there was alot of smoke towards the end of the display...

I'm going to try again this Sat for the YOG opening. Do you know what time the fireworks are scheduled? Where do you think is a good spot to take the fireworks?

I don't have a remote, so would you still advise me to use the bulb mode?

This might be a silly question but when do you press the shutter?

Sorry for all the questions... I don't want to fail again ;o

Very nice fireworks. Seems better than the NDP's. More variations. Will try to catch the opening one.

Agreed! Better than NDP's fireball :x
Anyway the fireworks are so cute :P Love the first one! Haha!

Beautiful photos. I hope I can take such high quality photos. By the way, could you share the settings of taking these photos such as aperture, shutter speed and ISO etc.

Chong
