Yashica YK rangefinder viewfinder question

Hi, good evening .

i recently bought a Yashica YK (1959), however the viewfinder is quite different from my other Yashica camera (GSN) - there is no yellow frame line. just wonder is this the case for Yashica YK or the lines had been "cleaned" from the mirro or glass?

thanks in advance

The manual stated

"The extra large view-finder windows enables you to compose your picture clearly, and you are assured of getting the same picture you are seeing through the view-finder."

so maybe what you see is what you get, so there's no need for a frameline? shoot one roll to test ba, beside if missing frameline there's nothing you can do but to adapt.
