yashica rangefinder repair help

I think my yashica electro 35 gsn has the "pad of death" problem and i'm in the middle of trying to save it myself but i'm loosing confidence and now kinda scared that i've forgotten how to put it back together, but i think i can do it. however if anything goes wrong, is there anyone in singapore that does this kind of repair?
