X-T1

Does it mean the jumping thing is a bug? Maybe that's the issue buying the first batch

For those interested for Body only try SLR revolution, i think they will do the pre-selling(not sure until when or when is the Body only be available) for those interested to buy Body only. And for the lens they have promotional discount of $100-$150. I just bought my 23mmf1.4 for 108x and its damn good. And the 35mmf1.4 theyre selling at 6xx plus discount included already. Enjoy the sale while it last hehehehe.

23mm foor 108x. That's cheap and cheaper than getting fron hk.

nice deal for the 23mm f1.4.. was this at it show or at their store ?

I dont know whether I should say this here...

My friend is at IT Show, the XT1 is going at 2390, dual lens (kit and the XC50-230mm), free SD card, and blah blah blah, same like those mentioned earlier (photo frame + something else)

I am also loving the 23mm f1.4 bought at TK photo yesterday. Excellent service.
Those interested in Fuji lens grab them before 30 March for the instant rebates http://www.fujifilm.com.sg/Document...ng Lens InstantCashBack(27 Feb -30 Mar14).pdf

Saw many people at different shops in Funan getting the X-T1. A shop even had 3 customers checking their X-T1s at the same time

I probably am going to get flamed for this but what the heck.. Got to use the X-T1 for a while today and I am totally disappointed with it. The buttons were hard to handle and unresponsive, especially the 4 way controller. I have owned 3 X mount cameras prior and I think the X-T1 has the worst user interface. If I can't get pass the interface, I'm not interested if its the fastest focussing camera in the world. That's a deal breaker for me. Just my view.

Any idea what's the top button on the iso dial and shutter speed dial use for ?

It doesn't seems to lock the dial..... ?_?

Speed dial locks only at "A"
ISO dial should lock at all positions

I experienced the jumping thing with the pre-production unit at Funan showroom and I went ahead to reset the camera to default settings. After that, the pre-production XT1 no longer exhibited the quirk.
My retail XT1 has no jumping issues, quite impressed with it overall.

When the dials are locked at A, press and hold the top button to move the dials.

I've to agree with you on the 4-way controller. They are too recessed into the body and my thumb couldn't feel them when I'm looking through the EVF or at the LCD. It would have been better if they are the same as XE2/X100(s). I think I'll paste some stickers on them to make them more voluminous.

I also don't quite like the lock on the dials. They make changing settings a bit more cumbersome. If there is a need for it, then it could have been like those we find on pens, press once to lock, press again to unlock.

the two lens he used does not really have thin dof. has anyone tried the f1.4 lens af tracking?

Even with a 1.4 lens, I'll not be using it at 1.4 to track action.
I'll want to set the appropriate aperture to maximise my keeper rate.

Why set yourself up for failure?

Its not about failure but xt1 at high price tag, users have high expectations for "fastest AF".
From the video below the cheapest m4/3 even focuses faster
