miao laan at bukit batok. nt sure if spelling is correct and i dun remember the street address.
cool..any idea where its near ? like landmarks or smth?
and..it IS possible to x-process 35mm right ?
cos every shop i went to ask..only x-process slides.. (ie process slides using 35mm chemical)
oh. i think i get what you're trying to ask now. haha.
erm theoratically, you can x-process negative film with E8, but no one does it. i asked the uncle at ruby (i think it was him) and he told me no one does it lah.
so yah, i think you can only x-pro slides.
hope this is what you're looking for. haha.
here's a tip. transfer your slides into a normal negative film canister and just go to any local photostore that you dont intend to return to and get it processed there. so you'll get slides processed in c41. just pretend to look shocked when you collect your film.

yeah..i've called up a few shops..n no one seems to do it in SG..i've seen pictures of film x-pro in E8 tho...n its a very nice "dreamy" effect..
gonna try and ask a friend if he has a darkroom at work where it can be done..
hmm. not sure if you clicked on the wiki link. anyway, it says something about developing colour negs in b&w solution, and it giving pastel-ly colours. you may want to try that. haha.
oh. you may want to try redscale photography. ha. i'm going to try it soon, sounds damn fun. hahaha.
ndroo has a little write up on how to roll the film from one canister to another (it's on his blog if i remember correctly)
oh. and i don't think it'll be easy developing the negs on your own. ha. do they even sell slide developers!? haha. oh. and you've to keep it warm or hot if i'm not wrong. i asked the uncle at ruby if you can actually do your own colour developing. he told me can, but not worth the while. haha.
post the x-proed neg roll if you do get it done! i think it'll be quite cool to see. haha.
woops sorry. what i meant was transfer the normal negatives into a canister that formerly belongs to a roll that requires E6 chemicals. meant the other way around.

you are evil! hahahaha.
That's sad to hear =( What camera are you using btw? Some cameras just have this characteristic that's better for x-pro. Also, as a side note, you're suppose to overexpose you slides by about 1.5 stops if you intend to x-pro them.
