Description:
Got several film SLR cameras, just bought an AF one (MZ-3), decide to sell this ME Super SE to cut down my film camera collection.
ME Super SE is the Special Edition of the popular ME Super camera, the SE version has a diagonally split focus screen while the non-SE one has a horizontal one. The diagonally split screen helps a lot for manual focus, if you've ever used both, you'd know what I mean. The SE version is much rarer than the common ME Super, very few copies sold even on eBay.
This manual focus camera is from similar vintage as the MX, and is also very light and small. It has aperture-priority operation in addition to full manual, dedicated flash, wider range of shutter speeds, faster X-sync, etc. The viewfinder is big and clear (0.95x Magnification and 92% Coverage), one of the best from all Pentax SLR cameras. It's day and night different if you compare the viewfinder w/ current dSLR cameras', and it's a joy just looking through the bright viewfinder.

The selling camera is in overall very good condition, with some sign of use due to its age. The light seal is still intact, with new mirror bump foam installed. I've shot a couple rolls of color film, all results turned out to be great (correct exposure and accurate focusing). The previous owner engraved his name on the back and bottom of the camera, quite unique but might be a considering factor when you buy the camera. Other than that, it's in pretty nice cosmetic condition. The camera is very clean inside out, only very few tiny dust spots inside the viewfinder which won't affect the use of this nice little camera at all.
The camera comes w/ original shoulder strap and original eveready leather case (kinda torn but still serve its purpose well, not shown in the photos).
I'm asking for $120 only which is a very reasonable price for such a rare and good camera. I can part it w/ either a Pentax M50/2 or Pentax A50/2 lens at additional cost ($50 for the M50/2, $70 for the A50/2). Both lenses are in mint condition.
