Hi
For sale is a superb Mamiya 7 body and the legendary N 65mm f/4 L lens. This is a formidable 6x7 rangefinder. I am the first owner and this set up is used very sparingly as I am just an amateur and I use my Leica more frequently so everything is kept at pristine condition and stored in a dry box.
Both camera body and lens comes with the full set of caps, original boxes, manuals and certificates.
The Mamiya 7 is functionally perfect and looks exceptionally clean externally. There could be a few very minor user marks on closer inspection but it's normal because I used it occasionally. The viewfinder is clean and dust free with all LEDs still bright and clear. The rangefinder patch is perfectly aligned vertically an horizontally at all distances. The shutter works perfectly at all speeds and settings. The meter is accurate and working flawlessly. Even the self timer function works! Comes with boxes, manual, certificates, original body cap, original strap and batteries.
The N 65mm f/4 L lens is extremely sharp. The focus ring is very well damped and the aperture turns smoothly with firm indents at each aperture setting. The lens comes with the original hood, lens front cap and rear cap. There is nothing much to say about this lens. It is very clean and works flawless. I cannot find any user marks or scratches on the lens. I never use the hood so it is really like new. I will include the UV filter that I had it on since day one when I bought the lens. Comes with original box, certificates, manual, front and rear caps and lens hood.
You will be very happy with this 6x7 medium format rangefinder. Superb optical performance and very light to carry around. I have decided to sell this set up to raise funds for an overseas community involvement project.
