Description:
This is a excellent example of a M3 double stroke repainted in black paint. Underlying plate is brass (not chrome) so its an accurate rendition of the original BP M3. (I have seen some repainted BP on chrome - obviously whoever did those didn't care much.)
The original BP M3 in similar grade would of course set you back by around 10 times the amount! Even a beaten up example goes for a 5-figure sum.
The black paint on this example is in very good condition with some brassing along the edges of the top and bottom plates, film counter, winder and the lugs. This example will age beautifully as you use it.
Serial number is 910349
Leatherette is in red as I bought it for a female friend but she found it too complex to use - no offence to the fairer gender here. Other than using it twice or thrice, it has been sitting in my dry cab since. The leatherette can be easily replaced to black or a colour of your choice for $50.
Price is slightly negotiable but be reasonable. You folks should know how much it cost to send an M3 for repaint - a good job costs over $1000 easily excluding the cost of sending it there and back.
