Want to sell: Leica M6 0.85 black rangefinder body in very good condition. This camera and it is in really nice shape. Production of this model was limited to only 3130 pieces, so as recent Leica M's go, it's kind of on the rare side.
Cosmetically, I would rate this camera about 9 out of 10. Some of the black chrome is beginning to wear in a couple of spots, such as on the Open/Close key on the bottom of the camera, as seen in one of the photos. There are a couple of minor chips in the finish on the left rail next to the back door, hopefully visible in the photo. There is also a small ding on the edge of the bottom plate near the tripod socket, also seen in one of the photos. The camera is in perfect working order. The viewfinder is crisp and clear.
This camera has a ton of life left in it. For the shooter looking for a viewfinder with slightly more magnification, the 0.85 is optimized for users of the 35-50-90 lenses. As you probably know, it also shows the frame lines for the 75 and the 135mm lenses. It comes with a body cap, neck strap, owner's manual, etc., all in the original box.
