I'll definitely regret to put my iiif here for sale, but I have to do so to simply for my Leica collection. Camera was just serviced by Leica factory trained technician in the US.
Serial number is 642259, so it is the version without useless self-timer.
Finders are bright and clear. All shutter speeds are accurate. You can test the slow shutter speed for as many times as you want until you are fully satisfied. First shutter curtain was replaced during the overhaul so you don't need worry about the light leak issue.
Body is in very good overall condition, some marks will be seen as it is more than 60 years old, much older than most of us here, but without any dent. Vulcanite is like new.
Summitar is the sought after 10 blades version. It is the last batch of 10 blades summitar, which was produced in 1950. It is coated, and coating is like new. Very few light cleaning marks on the front element. But no haze, fungus orseparation, which are quite common for a 65-year-old lens. A few very little air bubbles can be seen in the glass, which is very common for the lens back in 1950s, but they are very small and just like dust particles. lens barrel is in great condition, no dent. Comes with front and rear lens cap.
