If you have been looking for something different and small yet solidly built, this may probably be the one. This lovely shaped compact rangefinder is not only a pleasure to your eyes but its also to hold. In fact, it literally rest on your hand.
Purely a mechanical camera with no batteries involved. It has a pronto shutter that has been CLA'd to bring everything up to speed(so to speak). The camera curves at both ends, breaking the traditional squarish box shaped style. Yes, its a coupled rangefinder as well. The focusing knob is also well designed just below logo, so you don't need to turn the lens barrel.
Not everything is obvious with this Baldessa unlike conventional cameras. Only though exploration can you find what makes it tick. Just look at the pictures and see the work of art how they "think out of the box" for this camera. Amazing, considering its a 51 years old camera.
Viewfinder has been cleaned and now its clear and bright with the contrasty rangefinder patch. Shutter has been stripped and lubricated and adjusted. Lens has also been taken apart and cleaned, hence no fungus, haze or scratches.
Comes with its leather hard casing, 2 rolls of films, neck strap and a compact flash.
