Pentax Super Program 35mm SLR camera with Pentax-A 50mm f1.7 for sale.
The Pentax Super Program was named European Camera of the year in 1983. The camera for sale is fully functional, meter works well. Supports shutter speed up to 1/2000s, and program mode with Pentax-A lenses. has a camera top lcd which displays meter information. A flagship model during its day. Includes finger grip, Pentax camera strap and original box.
There are some paint losses on the camera body and a dent on the bottom plate. See last two pic.
The lens is clean and clear, focusing is smooth, aperture blade snappy. However, aperture ring is smooth from f1.7 to f11, thereafter some effort required to toggle f16, f22 and A. A common problem with this lens. Apart from this, lens is in very good condition. Includes a protective filter.
Selling on behalf of my neighbor. Priced accordingly taking into consideration the cosmetics and aperture ring issue.
I also have a Pentax-A 28mm f2.8 in mint condition for sale as a bundle for an additional $180.
