Hi Guys,
I have this great condition Fujifilm XE-3 which has been modified to shoot full spectrum IR by "The Camera Hospital", paid $270 for that.
Comes with the amazing Fujifilm 14mm f2.8 in great condition, no scratches, and the glass is very clean.
Since it's a full spectrum modified camera, we can use any lens and an IR filter with it. For this set, I ordered the very high-quality Kolari Vision Gen 2 "low profile, coated" filters from Kolari Vision directly.
The two filters are 665nm Gen 2 and 850nm Gen 2
665nm gives a very nice "false color" IR while the 850nm is for pure deep black and white IR shots, no post-processing required, just shoot BW in-camera using the 850nm and you have great looking IR shots. While for the 665nm, you will need post-processing with channel swapping to get that unique look you want.
The 14mm f2.8 is extremely sharp and perfect for IR because it does not have any hot spots issues, which is what we look for when selecting a lens for IR shooting. The full set cost me quite a lot including the modification and the filters.
