Reposting my friend's Leica M6 Classic Wetzlar version, with the priced lowered even further to $2000. Was planning to sell this at lowest $2200, but after running a test roll to make sure everything was working properly, i had discovered an issue with the shutter.
The issue is intermittent, what happens is that on some shutterspeeds the curtain does not close fully, leaving a very thin hairline opening, which can cause some overexposure on the right side of the frame. here is an example:
i've gotten a repair quote from Cam-X at peninsula saying the repair will cost $185, hence the lowering of the price.
the body and everything is still in pristine condition, practically mint. more details and pictures of condition here:
