Equipment Type: MediumFormat
Equipment Brand: Agfa
Equipment Model: Isolette II folder
Price (S$): 150 NEG
Description:
I have an Agfa Isolette II folding 6x6 medium format camera with Solinar f/4.5 lens and Compur-rapid shutter. This is a rare combination of the Isolette II body and the best lens/shutter combination.
The back of the lens is clean. The shutter blades are clean and free from oil/grease. The shutter fires at all speeds but I have not tested it for accuracy and so I do not know if the speeds are accurate. All knobs and rings turn. The viewfinder has a tiny little spot on the inside. However, it is very clear and you can compose a shot without difficulty. The film advance knob is working well. The shutter cocking lever is working well. The bellows pop out smoothly and automatically on pressing the release button. I shined a light through the bellows and did not notice any light leaks. However, I can't guarantee that the bellows are 100% tight.
There is a scratch on the front cover, near the "II". Also, there is some discolouration of the metal hinges on the left side. Besides that, the camera is in fantastic physical condition for its age, with no dings, dents or drops. The tripod mount and shoe mount look unused, but I have not tried mounting anything on it.
I am selling this because I thought the Isolette II had a rangefinder, but it doesn't. I hope this finds a good home!
