This is a re-post of something I posted 2 weeks ago. There was some very little fungus on the lens. I sent the lens for servicing this week, and it is now in optimum condition, kept in de-humidifier, and ready for use. This lens is 3 yrs old. Still very good optimum working condition.
This Tokina 11-16mm wide angle lens is perfect for DX bodies like D90, D7000 or D300. This lens is built like a tank, and has a very solid feel about it. I love the really wide angle coverage that I get and low distortion. Colors are rendered beautifully especially landscape water and skies. It accepts standard 77mm filters. The fast F2.8 aperture allows low light photography.Really a classic lens that offers tremendeous creative possibilities.
