Got this lens for a friend, but after trying it out, he felt it's too heavy for his like. So I have to put it up for sale here.
The FA*28-70/2.8 is one of the three best auto focus zoom lenses ever made by Pentax (the other two are FA*80-200/2.8 and F/FA*250-600/5.6). It's known not just for its sharpness and contrast, but also for the overall rending of the images. It has excellent built quality, and it feels/looks great when held in hands. Optically the lens is as good if not better than many good quality prime lenses. If you are using a Pentax and like to have the best walkabout zoom lens, this is the one for you.

Currently I have two copies of this lens, one for myself, and one was bought for my friend as mentioned above. Both lenses are in about the same condition: Mint w/ very few sign of use, minty glass w/ only minor dust, works as good as new. Both come w/ original Pentax front and rear caps and lens hood. You would have the opportunity to test out both lenses and choose whichever you like, and I'd be happy to keep the other copy. You'd never had a chance doing this if buying from online or shops (well, unless you find two copies in one shop, which is very unlikely even in Japan). Sorry I don't have a filter for the lens 'cause I only got one 67mm filter left, which I'd keep for my own FA*28-70. If you want to use a filter on this lens, you'll have to buy your own. Hope you understand. And trust me, this lens deserves the best filter you can buy
