8. They are full format or full frame lenses very usable on the DSLRs.
9. Most of all, they have no fungus, haze or scratches unless stated.
10. As for those who are always asking D and Non D lenses, focusing speed has nothing to do with whether or not a lens is D. The below is a QUOTE direct from Ken Rockwell(Not sure why, but everybody seems to trust him wholeheartedly for Nikon stuff). Although the camera he referred to is a Nikon F100, it applies to even your D80, D90, D300 and so forth.
"Even without the stupid "D" feature fill flash and metering work flawlessly on an F100. The "D" feature only is for people who insist on making flash photos directly into mirrors. Otherwise the "D" means nothing."
11. Please always assume there are some dust in the lens. We rather play safe than to disappoint. Even if you get your lenses serviced in NSC, you may find some specks of dust in your newly returned lens. If you are nauseated or disgusted with the sight of dust, you always have have Cathay and MS Colors. Just bear in mind it will not affect your pictures in any way.
Tokina RMC UWA 17mm F3.5 Red TL Version(The Later Version)
See what this fellow can perform first by clicking here.
A great ultra wide angle Japanese manual lens at the best price-performance-ratio that you can find. It is sharp especially if you stop down a bit. It has fairly high resolution, and definitely makes a great and compact lens to keep in your stable of lenses.
In superb condition and nice coating, with no haze or fungus included in the price of $250. A 67mm Hoya filter is also included for protection. Minimum focus is 0.8 meter. The cap used is a Nikon 67mm center pinch type, and rear cap is also from Nikon. Again, price is $250.
AF 50mm F1.8 N version
The AF 50mm F1.8 N version, not to be mistaken with the D version is a winner in its own class. Normally known as the "Made in Japan" version of the 50mm F1.8 as opposed to those made in China or Thailand, this version is tack sharp and brighter. Please go to this webpage, scrioll down and see the comparison between the AF 50mm F1.8 N versus the AF 50mm F1.8 D. You will understand why this lens is highly desired among some of the Japanese photographers we know. If you hold the lens in your hand, you will notice it feels more sturdy and better built than the D version. $160 for this outstanding performer.
Mir 24H 35mm F2 and Arsat 20mm 2.8 From Ukraine
The next 2 are the manual Mir 24-H 35mm F2 lens and the Arsat 20mm F2.8 both in Nikon mount. The 35mm F2 gives a smooth donut bokeh and is contrasty as well as sharp. Best for street photography. $140 for this excellent lens. Apart from that and some dusts, it is fungus and haze free. There are also a couple of fine hairline cleaning marks on the front element which are not easy to spot unless you tilt the lens to a certain angle. Again the price is $140.
The 20mm F2.8 Arsat is an outstanding performer giving sharp and contrasty landscape pictures. Colors are great and definitely a value for money lens. Very clean lens on exterior and interior with no fungus or haze. At $280, you can't go wrong with this alternative to Nikon's own 20mm F2.8.
Please PM us with your handphone number if you are keen. Thanks.
