this lens is metal mount and has full time manual override as compared to kit lens. aperture at the long end is also an improvement over the f5.6 u get on the kit lens. also has a rubber gasket at the lens mount to protect the camera
rated conservatively at 9/10, easily a 10/10. looks near mint to me
