Rare lens, and even rarer in this near mint condition. Comes with original plastic bubble lens holder, metal lens hood, caps, instruction manual and serial number matching box with original foam packing.
External condition is like new, and internally only has some specks of dust. Front element has just a few extremely faint, almost invisible hairlines on the coating that will have no effect on the image quality.
Besides being a very sharp wide angle lens (Leica used this lens as the basis of the Elmarit-R 24/2.8 lens), the lens also features Variable Field Curvature (VFC), enabling the field of focus to be bent forwards or backwards, thereby selectively blurring the outer areas of the image, even at wide open aperture.
