For sale is a classic Leitz/Leica standard lens - Summitar 5cm/f2 Chrome, coated version. It was produced in 1950 so it is a 67 year vintage lens.
Despite its age, this lens is in superb condition, mechanically and optically. It is very common to find a summitar with scratches/cleaning marks, fungus, or haze. Not this one. Its glass is as good as it gets, other than a few very fine bubbles (a sign of high quality glass used) and some microscopic dusts, it is near pristine condition. Hard to find one in this beautiful condition these days. (picture shall follow.)
