This is a wide known lens for portraiture - at f2 the 'softness' of the lens can be used to great effect for portraits, while at f 4 and above the lens is very sharp.

The key characteristic of this lens is its 15 aperture blades, which make for good bokeh even when stopped down.

The glass of the lens is pristine with no flaws, and the body is quite new. The only blemish on the lens body is 2 indents at base of the lens, which does not in any way affect mounting of any adaptors to the M42 screwmount or any other functionality.

Pictures of the lens below. The indents near the lens mount is in the third photo - it doesn't look good, but does not affect the functionality at all. The rest of the lens looks great.

Also, the aperture blades of the lens are oily, but that's common for russian lenses, and does not affect IQ.
