About this lens:
- 3month old
- Manuel Focus and Aperture so it is hard to use if you are new to photography
- There is a vignette at top left hand corner when shot at small aperture eg. f8 etc.., I have no idea why, i contact the Russia dealer about it and got no reply so got to live with it. can be solve with simple photoshop edit.
- There is one part where the paint wear off at the tip of the hood, shown in picture below.
Buy at your own risk, this lens is quite hard to use when there is no auto focus, the image quality is very soft/blur when use at wide aperture such as 2.8. Please read http://www.kenrockwell.com/zenit/zenitar-16mm.htm about it. Image will be sharp when shot at small aperture as mention from kenrockswell website.
Anyway the reason why i buy this lens is to try out the fisheye effect, yes i must agree it is freaking cool.. i use it for party shot, candid shot, group table shot with friends and landscape etc etc... no i won be posting my friend photos here but it looks very freaking COOL.
Reason I am selling because it is manual focus, sometime its quite irritating when i get blur shot because i cannot focus on time.... anyway i decide to buy a canon 15mm with auto focus now!
If you do not wish to buy the expensive canon 15mm fisheye and love to experience fisheye effect then this lens for you.

i mention earlier the tip of the hood have some paint wear off, i did not knock the lens or anything.

another view, notice the tiny screw and adapter next to it, i have no idea what its for sincei don use it.

shot some guy, don expect sharp image all the time, i retake like 3 to 4 time to get sharp picture.

random shot, always use small aperture for sharp image, it works better in bright day.

SEE THE VIGNETTE AT TOP LEFT CORNER WHICH I TOLD YOU EARLIER, IT CANNOT BE REMOVE OR FIXED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! USE PHOTOSHOP TO REMOVE THOSE BLACK CORNER !!!!
