received a Canon 40D with kit EFS 17-85mm IS lens for Christmas, but was able to pick up a 24-105L right away, so I haven't used this lens much at all. A Promaster UV Filter was also in my Christmas present and has been on the lens since then. No hood, though. In new condition, no scratches or wear of any kind.
