Description:
I bought this lens from Cathay Photo, lens code is 5560xxxx.
The reason for the low price is that there is a little spec of fungus approx 2-3 mm on one of the front elements. However, there is no visible degradation or spot in the images produced.
The fungus should be no problem to get cleaned up but I'm lazy to bring it down as I recently replaced this lens with the L version.
Other than that, there are no functional issues with the lens. It is a great performer and has very good range. It has been my faithful companion for aircraft spotting for the past few years.
