Can also see www.flickr.com/photos/faisalee for some my humble IR work. Being a noob! the pics are not as good as other experts, but I am very happy with its performance. Since the body has IS / VR / SR builtin the body, IR shooting is very easy, Hand Held

Forgot to add... Since I got the K100D used... there is a few dust particles in the VF but nothing that would irritate

Bought the camera used at $500 + paid $350 for IR modification (from China) + Bought a new kit lens ta $200 SGD (150 USD) bought Rechargeable batteries for $20

So its worth well over $1k

Selling at only $650 all of the above + (worthless) 1gb SD card of course

Many queries from fellow members since yesterday

Let me answer all of them:

1. The camera can only shoot Infra-red images just. If you want the false colors as in my post above, you will need a good photo editing software. Otherwise you can just turn it to BW and get amazing results already. Bellow is a sample of a BW IR image from my cam.

2. The dust inside the VF is very light. You can send it for cleaning after you get the camera no problems there. Even if you don't, its still fine.

3. The Kit lens is very good for IR shooting without any HOT-Spots of any sort. The hotspots are common problems with IR shooting with more expensive lens :sweat:

These are the very first images I got with this camera right after getting it after modification! This illustrate the BW IRs which can give amazing results as well...
