If you did your thorough research, this camera produces better images than canon g7x. G7X edges have vingetting in raw, and in camera jpeg processing will warp the edges to hide it. Less noisy than canon g1x also thanks to the bionz x image processor, which is also used in latest high end sony dslr like a7 or a6500.
It may seem cheaper to get a mirrorless apsc or micro four thirds, but you need a 24mm equivalent f1.8 lens to get similar low light results.
Mk 3 is a value for money buy compared to mark 5 if you dont need the 4k video capability.
