Difficult ? :bsmilie:

If you know how to meter on your SLR / DSLR then its very simple! In case your DSLR happens to meter using the AI-S lenses then its as simple as choose the aperture from the lens and shoot! Of course you need to manual focus...

ITs the ideal portrait lens for film cameras / Full Frame digitals (Which nikon currently don't have many :bsmilie:)

But still I loved shooting portraits with this...

Here are few more portraits / non-portrait samples with this lens!

Like other AI-S lens, it only works in Manual mode, means you have to set the aperture and shutter speed mannually using Sunny 16 rule on D80.

It's a lens with good reviews.

Up for a good lens:thumbsup:

Thanks James :)

Yes you cannot use in aperture mode on a D80! Only D200 / D300 / D3 / D2x, h etc can use in Aperture priproty mode

For the D80 and bellow have to use in "M" mode.

You can see the pictures! Very clean and lovely bokeh
