Hi, I would like to put this lens up for sale.

I just bought it on 30 May 2008 and so it is only a month old. Still have 11 months warranty. Have Receipt to proof.

Condition is as good as new. So selling at $1,100.

I will be back in Spore on 12th July, so if there is a buyer, I will meet him/her then.

But bargain hunters please stay away, I am just considering upgrading to 17 - 55 mm f/2.8 DX lens. If i cant sell, i just wont upgrade as I am only an amateur photographer.

Hmm, seems like pretty poor response. A on year old lens with no warranty can fetch about S$850.

So if i continue to use it for another 11 months before selling, it will only depreciate by about $120 from current highest bid. :dunno:

This thurs, 10th July bidding close. If can hit $1,000 I will sell the lens to the buyer. :lovegrin:

No offence but you simply cannot expect anyone to buy it at close to the price of a new one. Doesn't make sense to buy from you if anybody can afford to spend that much. Just like a new car, once you drive it out of the showroom, you take a depreciation hit of 15-20% immediately. If you want that much for the lens, I'd suggest keeping/using it for a year or so before selling. If you are desperate to sell it now, you have to make that decision whether to bite the bullet or not. The decision is yours nobody will force you to sell but the market dictates how much it is worth........

No offence at all, I totally understand. Of course, I know I will be taking a hit. Once used = not brand new. So of course I cannot sell brand new price, if not buyer must as well buy new from shop with full 12 months warranty.
