WTB : Sony W5 together ??

I am curious that since A95 is a relatively new camera, how come you want to change so soon?

Is the A95 giving you some problem? I read from somewhere that A75(if i remember correctly) has some manufacturing defects. The affected customers are given an option to top up cash to change to another model. Not sure about A95...

As for changing from A95 to W5... The best is you go and try out W5 yourself and see if you like it, as one man's meat is another man's poison.

Basically the good points about W5: Super low power consumption, large screen display, very fast response, great looking camera. As for A95, I think the best feature is the screen that can be turned around and it uses non-proprietary memory media.

nope, the A95 isn't giving me any problem, but previously i was trying to decide between DSC W1 and A95, and i chose A95 as it was slightly cheaper. Problem is i now find the A95 slightly bulky and with the limited video recording modes kinda troubles me. The black W5 with it's low price, compactness, big screen n tt it uses only 2 batteries, with a black body is giving me considerable dilemma...

The LARGE screen is a freaking cool luxury, if you ask me! I'm actually quite pleased even at the thumbnail preview mode! The thumbnails are actually big enough for me to see!

And.... the more I look at the BLACK W5, the more I like it. Never felt so proud of a unique looking camera. Trust me, compare the black and silver one, and I'm sure you'll go for the black

I need the LCD protector fast... Any suggestions?

Black is indeed very cool. :lovegrin: But if you take a look at my black W1, it ain't so cool after a few months of usage. The screws lost its colour, faded off. And i droped it once, dented and the black colour got scratched off. :sweat: But camera is tough! Survived a drop.

I am using a Martin Fields Overlay Plus Screen Protector from http://www.doml.com.sg/default.asp. The shop is at Funan and it is kinda ex at $16 but it fits nicely on a W1.

I am calling off the MO as I just found out that the freebies given out are not Sony brand(MS, Screen protector, etc). I assumed that they are Sony brand earlier on as previously Sony freebies are always given. Sorry for the mistake.

After calculating, it is not a very attractive package afterall. So, there's no need to go down to expo to get the package. I will be getting my W5 in SLS, $500 nett, with ORIGINAL SONY MS Pro 256 MB(collect separately). Save me lots of trouble as no need MO and travel to expo.

LCD Protector (Malaysia made)... S$8.90 at Harvey Norman. Verdict: Cheap and good. Wish there were bigger LCD Screen protectors in the market.

Why you wish for bigger LCD protectors? This S$8.90 one not big enough for your W5 meh? It states to be 2.5", which should be big enough.
