erm, not really. the Gaffer is the head lighting technician who handles and supervises the lighting plan for a movie/film production. it's many, many steps up from the person who tapes the wires down.Originally posted by cutter
ah... I always wondered what a "Gaffer" is... (you know, the end credits of a movie etc)... its the "tape guy" who sticks the elec cables to the ground during filming

Yeah I checked it up...it's also a colloquial term used by footballers to refer to their football manager.... just trying to be a little cheeky
