WS Weekend Outing...

How about nude photography session, with 2 models (male & female)? Theme could be 'Intimate'.

It could be 'landscape' if we do it at a secluded beach, 'portrait' if we do it in a studio, or 'macro' if we get real close. I can bring my dog and it can also be 'pet photography'! Only group we cannot cater to are the street photographers. I think it's illegal to walk in the street naked.

I always wanted to try nude photography but shy. :embrass:

Early in the morning on Saturday go to Changi beach or Marlion for sunrise. Maybe can try The flyer. Have a cup hot coffee or tea at nearby coffee shop for breakfast. Have some streets photography around town area like Sultan Mosque or Chinese Temple like Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. Have lunch at nearby Shopping centre foodcourt and take a rest by enjoying the free cooling air-con inside shopping centre like the one at vivigo city at harbour front. At around 1500hrs maybe can take a bus to LABRADOR PARKS for sunset. After that bye bye to everyone and enjoy editing your pic on Sunday and start post your pics from every members to view and comment.

You don't need to bring a lot of equipments. Just your camera with a standard lens with CPL filter and a Tripol. I alway enjoy this kind of life with my close friend or my family.

Hope this will help you past your wonderfull weekend. BUt remember to call alone.

I think as per your suggestion of Nude Photography, I personally don't think its appropriate to discuss here. As there might be minors within the club or give ideas to ladies that this is some unhealthy club. Kindly discuss your suggestion within your area of friends or club.:nono:

but this is photography, its as easy as key-ing certain keywords in flickr
We can't be educating people by differing such form of photography, rather we could organise and excute it in a more structured method.

We can take the suggestion and branch it further in those TCSS sessions, never know, which sleeping member may be able to share experience and part knowledge to us.

more talks and workshop is defenitely... but most important, we needa secure the space before we can arrange... for the earlier workshop, we have actually secured the space more than 1 mth prior the workshop, from our own pocket... thank god, everything goes well... else, we may have to top from our own pocket ya... :bsmilie:

Tachyon, no problem, this would be one of the side that we may try in future too... Ringwraiths is only concerned that we may involved the moderator for unnecessary reasons.

Ringwraiths, do not worry on this topic... So long as we do not post any obscence images in CS, there should not be any issue from site. Nude photography is also a category that is widely discussed in the western. This category of photography requires a really dedicated set-up to get the pictures right... However, not to worry, should any future planning on this, we shall discuss seperately on a nude shoot thread ya...

- Nude Photography is what we used to call Figure & Forms. Without proper guidance the subject ended up being too pornographic and tasteless. Till such expertise is onboard to gv a proper guide, this wld be on hold, as far as WS is concern.

- For year end, we'll plan out what was suggestied by Peteryeo. It will be a whole day affair.

- As for limiting to P&S, WS will not opt for this option.

Talks and Workshop is sharing our main passion in photography. Organrising Photo Outting for all kind of photographic is to communcation with everyone. So I believer this is very important to let the club grown. Please take notes.

As securing a space for our future Talk and Workshop. Why not we can form a club in a CC. In this way we can conduct more Talks, Workshop and maybe Courses more eary and same time get support for future need. This will be a big planing to be done.

Yes. This is a very good suggestion.

The PM had a frequent meeting these past few days of having it registered officially and brainstorming of how by having it officially launched as an official society, how it cld further benefit the photography community; doing reserach, and so on.

Area such as the WS basic infracstructure to get this going is the most complicated area which we had encounter so far, especially it involved $$ to get it running.

As was mentioned on securing a space, WS are also looking into this. Past talks, we encounter difficulty of securing space, due to too many red-tapes, (..was told that our activities are a conflict of interest..)

Though what was stated above, it'll take sometime to materialised, and with the rest of the members consent. This was just an option that the PM is exploring.

Yes, we will be looking into making it official in a CC perhaps... But our concern now is rather, would the CC retain our group name or based on their CC's name...
