Would you stay in such a hotel?

This is how you test whether the hotel staff know your room is haunted. Order room service meal at 2am. Is the meal sent by one hotel staff only. Or more than one hotel staff (afraid to come to your room alone). Do they look frightened to send the meal to your room at 2am? If yes, then your room is "hot".

What happens when you hear a door knock, you open the door 3 seconds later and the meal tray is on the floor but no one in sight. Your turn to be frightened.

u open door n see nobody but food, not b'cos no body around, it's b'cos they climb out from your hotel tv and waiting for u at ur bed...

The test recommended is from personal real life experience.
It was a hotel in Penang.
Two staff sent the room service food past midnight and they were extremely afraid.
The next day discovered why. Saw 黑白无常 Hēi Bái Wú Cháng idols* placed at the entrance of the spa in the hotel basement.
And then realised that the hotel had purposely permanently prevented the lift access from the basement to the hotel rooms upstairs.
It suggests the hotel is haunted.
Probably a past murder or tragic death in the spa or one of the masseurs from the spa murdered in one of the hotel rooms. The ghost looking for revenge or 替身 (Ti Shen) [Replacement].

........
* These are the Black Guard of Impermanence and White Guard of Impermanence- guards of Hell who are tasked to lead the spirits of the dead to the Underworld after death. The White Guard and the Black Guard are in charge of evil and good spirits respectively. They are worshipped in some Chinese temples and are colloquially referred to as "Dà Yé Bó" (大爷伯) and "Èr Yé Bó" (二爷伯), which means "Great Grand-Elder" and "Second Grand Elder" respectively. They wear tall hats bearing Chinese characters and long robes which cover their entire bodies. And long tongues.

relax :)

what ricohflex said does make sense.

anyway, kids can see ghosts. If you see kids talking to nobody in a hotel room then "it" is there! It happened to my relatives in a chalet in Sentosa, and another one from a friend whose family was in a hotel in Malacca.

try rubbing dog tears to ur eye, reli eye-experiencing ..

Another way not to be disturbed by the uninvited is to wear red pyjamas and garlic ring to sleep.

we just use a lot of salt and pepper. msg might work too.

Before you enter a hotel room, knock first, says that you are going to stay there for some time. Then open the door, let them "out" first before you enter. It's a form of respect and so, it's up to you whether to do it or not. I went to china last yr, stays alone in the same room for few days and still ok. As long you dont do bad things to other, those "things" wouldn't bother you one. Anyway, I do "send" items to our bro/sis during lunar 7th month. I also will die one day, think of that, I also need other to give me some "pocket $" next time, haha!
